A flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases, mainly propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10), liquefied through pressurization and refrigeration, for ease of transport. It is derived from crude oil refining or natural gas stream fractionation and used as fuel in heating appliances and vehicles.
